Amid growing concerns about the state of democracy, this session explores new ideas to strengthen participation, accountability, and economic democracy. Speakers will discuss the crisis of representative politics, the role of citizen assemblies, ways to measure meaningful participation, and emerging proposals for greater democracy in the economy. The conversation will also address the obstacles and practical steps needed to move toward deeper and more participatory democratic systems.
