Isabelle Ferreras will take part in the Grand Débat “IA : POUR UNE PROPRIÉTÉ UNIVERSELLE DES SAVOIRS” (AI: Towards Universal Ownership of Knowledge) on November 21, 2026, at 11:30, at the Théâtre de La Concorde in Paris (1-3 avenue Gabriel, 75008). The debate is held in English with French translation.
Who owns the knowledge that AI draws on? How should the value it generates be shared? And how can we prevent this technological revolution from concentrating power even further? This Plenary Debate, held in English with French interpretation, will explore intellectual property, data and the rules governing the companies developing these technologies. These are all crucial factors in determining who controls artificial intelligence today and who benefits from the value it creates. International researchers and economists will bring together their analyses and proposals to explore new models of ownership and consider how artificial intelligence and the knowledge it draws on can become more widely shared resources.
