In “Il coraggio di pensare il postcapitalismo” (“The courage to think postcapitalism”), published in Jacobin Italia, Toni Comín, professor of social sciences at ESADE and Member of the European Parliament, analyses the work of Isabelle Ferreras, Lea Ypi and Thomas Piketty to outline proposals for a postcapitalist economy and to advance the debate on socialism.

The article focuses on Ferreras’ idea of economic bicameralism, which would give workers political control of firms, a control currently blocked by private ownership of capital and voting rights. It also recalls her role leading the international expert group behind the Report on Democracy at Work, commissioned by the Spanish Government, and the Democratizing Work network.
